Black Ops 2 Leaked Info

A couple of days ago some Black Ops 2 information was leaked on YouTube and a website. Both of these were sadly taken down but many people have still managed to acquire the information like me. All of the information that was leaked was about multiplayer only. Sadly nothing about Zombies got leaked. I will start of with-
Game Modes
They have decided to add a new game mode called Escort. The game mode will be similar as search and destroy in that you will have only one life and can not respawn until next round.
Drop Zone and Kill Confirmed will return but Team Defender and Infected will not.
Pointstreaks
The same system that is used in Modern Warfare 3 will be used in Black Ops 2
They are going to address more emphasis on objective
A bomb plant will be worth 2 points, an enemy flag will be worth 2, a neutral flag will be worth 1, and an assist for capturing is worth 1.
The Specialist has been changed. This means you will not receive all the perks after 8 kills.
You get to choose out of different versions of Pro for one perk.
The RC-Car will not be back.
A new pointstreak is heat vision which allows the player to pull out a pair of goggles that see through most things. This scope can be equip to almost all guns except for shotguns.
They will include item packages that have special things that only come in the packages.Ex. a minigun
Prestige
Like Black Ops it will have 15 prestiges
There will be 50 levels again but every two prestiges it adds 5 more levels. That means that the final level will have 90 levels.
ELITE
ELITE is being brought into Black Ops 2
Instead of combat record it would be called ELITE Stats
There will be specific lobbies for clan battles.
REMOVED
There will be no more MOAB,Nuke, last stand, death streaks, and no flamethrower attachment.
Map Design
The multiplayer map design will follow the same as Black Ops. Which means they are going to make maps that were in story mode.
Sniper Rifles
They will improve the usage of snipers by reducing the sway unlike their previous title. They will also remove the aim assist on snipers.
Customization
The appearance of your character will be determined by a combination of the three perks instead of just the first tier perk.
Hardcore
No noob tubes allowed in hardcore and only vehicle lock rocket launchers are going to be allowed.
A player will not be easily killed by getting shot in the foot but if severely injured will bleed out.
The delay in respawn will be reduced.
Perks
A single perk can now turn into two different types of pro versions. You will need to choose one though.
There will be different challenges for the two different versions.
The only way you can switch is by prestiging.
For example Perk slot 1 has the perk called Speed
- Speed -- Reduces the time taken to aim down the sight
- Pro I -- Swaps weapons faster
- Pro II -- Throws equipment faster

Finally
Combat Training
It will return with a lot of improvements.
The difficulty will no longer be based on how fast an enemy reacts.
The bots will have a similar AI system as the one used for survival mode in Modern Warfare 3

This is all the information that got leaked so far. I am hoping that some Zombie stuff will get leaked because I am a huge Nazi Zombie player and have loved that game mode.

Bite Me

Bite Me is a live action series by Machinima. It is about 3 guys that live together who like zombies and zombie video games(Deadrising 2). All of the sudden the zombie apocalypse starts in L.A. The government refuses to do anything about it. This leads them to take action and try to survive. They are working on episode 2 for season 2. If you know who is Machinima you know they are from YouTube. You might be thinking YouTube this isn't going to be any good. Trust me it is I thought it was going to have some really bad effects and camera work but it didn't. When you watch it you think this is an actual television show. If you want you can watch all first season by clicking this right here. Season two is also out but if you are just hearing about check out the first one. They will come out with new episodes every Tuesday. I really like this series because it is what every zombie killer wants. It also has a lot of comedy, and many references to video games especially Deadrising. The only down side of the show is that all the episodes are about twenty minutes long. I will end this here because I don't want to spoil anything  from the story. Overall anyone who likes shooter games should watch this.

The Generous Indie Game

On last Saturday, the 24th of March, the indie game publisher Supsoap decided to do a giveaway of their game Faerie Solitaire to all redditor. They will give out a total of 50,000 keys for the game. To do this, Supsoap will give away a total of 425,000 dollars. However, I think I do not think this is a waste of money. I believe this is a very creative way to promote the game. Giving out 50,000 keys will not cause Supsoap to lose any money, but it will definitely bring in sales. As players get impress with the game, (I know I'm) they will surely buy the game as a gift later for others. If you're interested in getting a free copy of the game for yourself, you should check out the reddit post here. At the time of writing this post, there are still some keys left, and if you hurry you should be able to get one. The game Faerie Solitaire is a Solitaire game equipped with a story, challenges, pets, and shops. It also won the The Wall Street Journal - Gamehouse "Most Addictive Game" in 2010. Personally, I usually do not to play Solitaire, but the way the game have set itself in such a way that I have come to love playing Solitaire. It's definitively worth a try.

Know your mythology

Age of Mythology is a third person multiplayer game for the PC. It is based off the Age of Empires series but with a mythical basis. You start out by choosing if you want to follow the Greek, Norse or Egyptian gods. There are advantages to each culture. Greeks have strong infantry and heroes that you can use in battle. When you start you get three villagers, a scout and a few towers placed around the Town Center. Egyptians don't need wood to build but the villages work slower. They start out with three villagers, a Pharaoh and a Priest as well as a few towers. The Norse are good at building a huge army quickly. Norse players start out with An Ulfsark, Ox Cart, and two Gatherers unless you start under Thor in which case you get dwarfs instead of Gatherers. You then choose one of the three major gods of the religion you practice. When the game starts you then spawn on a map but you're only able to see a small portion of the map. You then work to gather resources to create buildings and armies. You strive to rise through the ranks and beat your opponent. When you rise to the next rank you must choose a minor god to follow. the minor god sill provide a god power and a bonus to your army but you cant change your mind so choose wisely. You can win in one of two ways. The first way is to destroy everything your opponent has built. The second way is to build a wonder. To build a wonder you must get lots of materials, wait for construction to be complete and protect it for five minutes. This can be very hard but if you have defensive units it can be the better choice. You can also play single player against a computer opponent. For these matches there are a few cheats you can use. IF you get bored with the normal game you can get the titan expansion pack which adds in two major things. the first is that you will be able use the titan culture. The major thing though is that you will be able to summon a titan during the game. Titans are really powerful and expensive but not unbeatable. You have to be careful because you can only summon one per game.

The things you can do

Mine craft is a first person sandbox game. Most people know about it so I’m just going to talk about some of the stuff that you can build and also some of the cool mods there are. I'll also talk a bit about some glitches there are and have been in the game. So first up are things you can build. I have seen a great many amazing building projects one of these is the great city in the sky. Here’s a picture I took:

The floating city

Another cool project I’ve seen and it is actually one I built and that is a defensive structure for a faction I am part of that is named after my school. So this project I call the Great Obsidian Wall of LASA. Here’s a picture:
the obsidian wall of LASA and the city within

So these are pretty cool but there are also some cool mods. One of these mods is called the Aether mod where you can go into another part of the wolrd. Similar to the middle world but above it. You have to start over with creating new tools. Each level of tool has a fun perk like doubling items. There are also new peaceful mobs like flying pigs, sky whales, and cloud sheep. There are also a few violent mods like mimic blocks. You can get to the Aether by forming a portal with glowstone and activating it with a bucket of water. Another fun mod is called elemental arrows and allows you to form several new fun arrows. These arrows are the fire arrow, the ice arrow, the exploding arrow, and the egg arrow. It also allows you to build a homing bow. This is a fun mod that adds a few things to the game without it. So those are two fun mods that you can get. For more mods and their reviews you can go to yogscast.com.
Now for a glitch I found recently. If you have a few mods on a multiplayer server you can make it so that Lapis blocks will throw you. They can cause damage and can be made into traps or just a bounce house. I don’t know exactly what mods you need but I do know that you must have the death chest mod for this to work. You have to be careful if you use this glitch though. It can effect how you can move around in creative and sometimes in survival. Parts of the server can lag out cause people to bounce away from buildings containing diamond, lapis, gold, and iron blocks. So be careful but I encourage people to explore this mod.

Build some cool things,
Grosoon

The Permanent Death MMO-Shooter

This whole week all that I could think about is what I would do on spring break. I then realized that I needed a new game because I have played all the games I owned multiple times. However, I didn't have any money to spend on a new game, so I didn't know what to do. Then on Monday, I was browsing Steam even though I knew I would not be able to buy anything, but then I came across a game called The Realm of the Mad God. Under its title, it said "Free to Play", so I was immediately clicked to find out more about the game. After a couple of minutes of digging around, I found out that the game is a 2D mass multiplayer online shooter game that have permanent death. What it means is that your character will die permanently if it was killed. I was really interested by then, but I still have problems with free to play games. These games usually have a microtransaction system that players can pay to be overpowered. After further investigation, I found out that the game will not limit any part of the game for nonpaying players, and the game will only offers cosmetic products, extra character slots, and extra vaults to store your items. "Cool, if it is not a "pay for power" game, I'll give it a try" I said. The moment I logged in, I was instantly hooked. I love how the game is so combat oriented and knowing that your character could die permanently added an extra edge to the combat. By now, I knew how I'm going to kill my time during spring break.
Don't underestimate it because of its graphic! Picture by: me

What I want from Black Ops 2

Recently me and some of my friends have been talking about Black Ops 2. We loved Nazi Zombies since World at War. Most of my friends haven't gotten Modern Warfare 3 or won't get it at all just because they didn't have Zombies. We were talking about what they should try to incorporate into the game and what would be cool to use or have as a weapon. The list was kind of short all we wanted was a World at War Mystery Box, Pro Perks, new characters, and more of a story line. The World at War Mystery Box is sort of an extra mystery box that only contains guns from world at war. We all agreed that they seemed somewhat more effective and were cooler looking overall. Pro perks, you would need to buy a perk for its regular price then the pro version would cost maybe double the original price. For example Jugger-nog cost 2500 points and it takes 4 hits for a zombie to kill you but the pro version will cost 5000 and will take  about 8-9 hits to kill you. We have no problem what so ever with the characters we think they are awesome and cool. But playing with as them every time is kinda repetitive. This is also were a new story line could be useful. The previous one *SPOILERS AHEAD DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT THE END RUINED* ended with Richthofen becoming the leader/ruler of the zombie horde. In the new story line the characters could be sort of trying to kill Richthofen rather than taking his place like he did. These are just a couple of ideas we came up with that I wanted to share with you. Hope you like them and that Treyarch uses them or is incorporating something new

Mass Effect 3 Demo Was AMAZING!

All last week I was playing the  Mass Effect 3 Demo. I had never played any of the previous titles but had heard good things about it. So I decided to check it out. Overall I give the demo about a nine out of ten(9/10). The only reason I give it that rating is because I fell like the game is too similar to Gears of War. But overall this entire day I found myself missing playing the demo. If I could go back in time...forget that if I could go to the future and get a copy and start playing today I would. Alone the multiplayer mode hooked me. I didn't even need to touch single player to consider this game one of the best in my book. You guys should check it out once it comes out on March 6,2012.

How to infect the world.

Pandemic 2 is an online game that can be found at pandemic2.org. In this game you try to kill every person on earth with a disease. First, you choose what type of disease you want to use to start your pandemic. You can choose to use a parasite, a virus or bacteria. Each type has an advantage. Viruses evolve fast and infect quickly but are easily affected by their environment. Bacteria evolve at a steady pace and are drug resistant. Finally, parasites are slow to evolve but are hard to diagnose and aren't affected by the environment. Once you've chosen what type of disease you want, you get to name your disease. Then, you can see a world map like this:

You start in a random country and then continue to infect the world. The 8 at the bottom of the picture is the evolution points. These points can be used to upgrade your disease by clicking on the disease menu at the bottom of the page. The World menu shows how far your disease has progressed in infecting the world. Once your disease has been detected in numerous locations, the global community will start to work on a cure. You can delay the completion of the cure by evolving drug resistance or getting countries to shut down hospitals. If all the hospitals are shut down then the cure will never be completed. The goal is to shut down all the hospitals or kill the entire population of earth before the cure is completed. The countries will cut off connections with other countries so even if you shut down the hospitals you still want be able to infect everyone. Due to their isolation, the hardest country to infect is Madagascar. They have one port and shut it down very quickly. I think that stealth is the best strategy to defeat this isolation tactic. I have only seen the game beaten once and the person was using a parasite so I would recommend you use one for your pandemic. This game is interactive and very fun. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a challenge.
Have fun gaming,
Grosoon

Can You Run It?

I know most PC gamers always ponder if their computer is able to run a game. However, to do that is a huge hassle. You will have to look up what graphic card or how much ram the game recommends, and then you would have to check up if your computer is able to match those recommendations. This is a huge pain even for people who do know how to obtain all these information. I used to have that problem until I found Can You Run It?. This website will automatically retrieve all of the information it needs from your computer and compare it to a game to see if you are able to play it. Today I will show you step-by-step on how to use the website to check up if your computer is able to play Skyrim. However, please only use the information from the website as a guide to see if you're able to play a game because each computer is different from each other, so it is impossible to get an exact answer.
Step 1:
Get to Can You Run It?.

Step 2:
You can either type in "The ElderScolls V: Skyrim" in the first box, or you can choose Skyrim from the dropdown box.

Step 3:
Click on the button "CAN YOU RUN IT?"
Source: me

Step 4:
Wait for the the website to analyzes your computer and the compares it with the requirements.
Source: me

Step 5:
Check the results! As you can see, my computer barely passed the requirements to play Skyrim.
Source: me

Step 6 (optional):
Since I didn't pass the recommended requirements for Skyrim, I wanted to see which of the requirements I fail, so I could upgrade my computer properly. As you can see on the picture below, my graphic card failed me.

Modern Warfare 3 New Maps

Photo drawn by Simonjked
A couple of days ago I bought Call of Duty Elite premium membership. Which is a one year membership to get all the DLC(downloadable content) prepaid. Activision had already "dropped" three maps for people to get. I downloaded them all and started playing. The three maps where Piazza, Liberation, and Overwatch. My favorite so far is Overwatch.  I immediately got killed because I had no idea where to go. I was still learning about the maps. What I learned so far about these maps is that in Piazza you need a shotgun or a SMG. Any other type of gun is good but there is a lot of close quarters and you need to move fast around the map or you could eventually get caught in a choke point. In Liberation a assault rifle or a sniper is the best. Liberation is probably the biggest map so far and has the most sniper views. So try not to run in the wide open. The latest map is Overwatch. For this map there really isn't a weapon you should use. There isn't a lot of close quarters or long distance fights to choose one. So you get to pick whatever you want. If you need more advice knowing what to pick you could check out TmarTn's YouTube channel for some MW3 tips. Also the 4th,5th, and 6th drop will be coming on March 13th for Xbox. For PS3 it will come a month later. They will be one map and two spec ops missions.
