The Permanent Death MMO-Shooter
This whole week all that I could think about is what I would do on spring break. I then realized that I needed a new game because I have played all the games I owned multiple times. However, I didn't have any money to spend on a new game, so I didn't know what to do. Then on Monday, I was browsing Steam even though I knew I would not be able to buy anything, but then I came across a game called The Realm of the Mad God. Under its title, it said "Free to Play", so I was immediately clicked to find out more about the game. After a couple of minutes of digging around, I found out that the game is a 2D mass multiplayer online shooter game that have permanent death. What it means is that your character will die permanently if it was killed. I was really interested by then, but I still have problems with free to play games. These games usually have a microtransaction system that players can pay to be overpowered. After further investigation, I found out that the game will not limit any part of the game for nonpaying players, and the game will only offers cosmetic products, extra character slots, and extra vaults to store your items. "Cool, if it is not a "pay for power" game, I'll give it a try" I said. The moment I logged in, I was instantly hooked. I love how the game is so combat oriented and knowing that your character could die permanently added an extra edge to the combat. By now, I knew how I'm going to kill my time during spring break.
